Adrienne Pereira's childhood interest in art
has lead her to the exciting world of Custom Painted
Murals and handpainted Signs
From early on, Adrienne took every opportunity to sketch animals and
landscapes, influenced by, among others, the
watercolor nature studies of Beatrix Potter. Throughout her
school years she excelled in art, developing a quick, flowing
style of drawing that won her several awards.
Her first published work came during a stint as staff
artist for the San Francisco chapter of the SPCA, where she
did illustrative work for thier magazine but also
designed their logo that was used for many years.
She has been one of the contributing writers
for Sign Builder Illustrated magazine, a publication that features 'how to' instruction
for the sign making industry
Adrienne started her own window painting business called "Splash Signs"
over 20 years ago, her work emphasizing detailed pictorials. At
the same time she continued to learn more of the technical
aspects of painting while studying at both Diablo Valley and
American River Colleges in Northern California.
Her images may
depict realistic scenes of Orcas playing in
Kelp beds on a wall in a woman's spa in Vallejo, CA Spa or a
Fantasy Garden where Fairies sway on top of Giant allium blossoms
and cats chase butterflies.
In past years she has worked in the San Francisco
Bay Area and Napa Valley Wine Country as a Muralist, specializing in Children's rooms and play areas.
This summer she traveled throughout Israel visiting many well known destinations as Masada, the Dead sea, the old City in Jerusalem and Tiberius.
